Flavour the Richmond night markets

The largest night markets in North America transform a dusty carpark near the Bridgeport Skytrain Station into a global food extravaganza every summer. If you can fry, broil, bake, stew, roast or deconstruct it.. you will be able to find it in Richmond. There is an eclectic party atmosphere with loud pop music live bands and strange mechanised dinosaurs.

The many market stalls are arranged in rows and I suggest buying premium tickets as the lineup can be uncoordinated and frustratingly long if you're not prepared. Seating is a rarity so wear comfy shoes. There is an array of entertainment including live acts and attractions. Huge crowds are drawn mainly for the food, the Northern Asian seafood dishes are scrumptious. I'm a huge fan of the pork belly varieties. Don't forget to bring cash.

Since COVID-19 restrictions have been placed in some areas of the markets.
